The International University of Kyrgyzstan consortium lists its International School of Medicine (ISM), with a five-year General Medicine route for foreign students and a six-year route for CIS students. ISM’s own programme catalogue also publishes five-year and six-year curricula. These are programme listings; they do not establish that every campus or intake has identical clinical and internship arrangements.
For Indian applicants, the useful next step is to request the current curriculum, complete training period and degree-awarding entity for the exact offer. The older admissions page also refers to five- and five-and-a-half-year arrangements for Indian students. Resolve that difference in a dated university contract rather than assuming one duration applies to every applicant.

Check the full legal institution name on the offer, contract and diploma. IUK ISM and IHSM programme details must not be exchanged simply because both names contain School of Medicine.
A course listing is a starting point
The official catalogue provides several curriculum editions. Ask which version governs the 2026/27 cohort and where the supervised internship sits within the complete qualification.
Match the actual teaching site
The consortium lists medical facilities in Bishkek and other locations. A campus name, hospital list and accommodation allocation should appear in the documents for the selected route.
Admission planning for Indian students
ISM’s published foreign-applicant procedure describes an online ministry admission stage, document assessment and tests in English, Biology and Chemistry. The public instructions include older material, so confirm the current portal, assessment format and application calendar before submitting a file.

IUK fees and full-course budgeting
A complete, current Indian-student fee contract was not established from the programme and admission sources reviewed. We therefore do not present an agent package as an official university tariff. Request a dated schedule in the invoicing currency, with tuition for each year, internship charges, hostel, food, insurance, visa, migration registration and refund terms.

Compare the total for the same programme and campus. A short course quotation and a longer qualification with a separately charged internship are not equivalent budgets.

Clinical training, internship and local registration
ISM publishes a clinical-bases page that names institutions such as the National Hospital and the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare. That older published list describes a training network; it does not prove a current placement entitlement for every foreign-student cohort.
Ask for the current hospital agreements, rotation calendar, supervised clinical hours and assessment language. Routine practical placements must not be treated automatically as the separate supervised internship required for Indian eligibility.
Hostel, food and student support
The school’s accommodation guidance describes shared rooms, security and a canteen, including an address on Seven April Street in Bishkek. Confirm the actual allotted building, room occupancy, heating, bathrooms, journey to classes and hospitals, and all deposits. The guidance is older material, so photographs and prices should be checked against the current hostel contract.
Ask about meal options, health-insurance access, emergency assistance and the complaints process. Do not assume an Indian meal plan is included unless it appears in the offer.
