What is the latest Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling update?

The official Chhattisgarh medical counselling portals currently list the 2026 MBBS/BDS Round 2 provisional allotment result, Round 2 merit information and the clear-vacancy position published in September 2026. Candidates should use the official CGDME counselling portal for the next schedule, candidate login, reporting instructions and any later-round notice.

Students and parents often see counselling dates shared through messages or social media after the information has changed. This update organises the official links in one place and explains what to verify before taking action. Scholars Abroad does not control counselling, allotment or admission decisions.

These dates describe the notices visible when this page was reviewed. They are not a promise that registration, choice filling or reporting remains open. Always open the latest official notice and read its complete PDF before paying a fee, uploading documents or travelling to a reporting centre.

What candidates should check now

  1. Open the official “What’s New” page. Look for a notice published after the one you last read.
  2. Check the counselling schedule. Confirm registration, choice filling, allotment, document scrutiny, reporting and resignation deadlines separately.
  3. Check the latest seat matrix. Vacancies can change between rounds and after withdrawals.
  4. Use only the official candidate portal. Complete registration, payment, document upload and choice filling only through the authorised website.
  5. Download your records. Save the submitted form, payment receipt, locked choices, allotment letter and every applicable notice.

Documents to organise before reporting

The exact checklist depends on the candidate and the applicable notice. Commonly requested records can include the NEET UG scorecard and admit card, Class 10 and 12 certificates, identity proof, domicile and category documents where applicable, photographs, allotment letter, fee receipt and medical or eligibility documents specified by the authority.

Do not rely on a general checklist alone. Match every document against the current CGDME notice and the instructions issued by the allotted institution.

Chhattisgarh counselling and MBBS abroad are separate pathways

State MBBS/BDS counselling and an application to a foreign medical programme are different processes. Students comparing both options should keep their official counselling choices active according to the rules while independently checking the complete foreign programme, NMC requirements, budget, clinical training, internship and awarding-country licence pathway.

Read our MBBS abroad vs private MBBS in India comparison and the MBBS abroad planning guide before making a financial commitment.

Questions students in Raipur ask

Can Scholars Abroad complete state counselling for me?

No consultancy controls the official allotment process. Our team can help families understand a document checklist and compare education options, while the candidate must follow the official portal and applicable authority instructions.

Should I trust a deadline received on WhatsApp?

Use it only as an alert. Confirm the deadline on the official CGDME portal and read the current notice before acting.

Does a Round 2 result confirm admission?

An allotment and a completed admission are not the same. Follow the reporting, document verification, fee and institutional requirements stated in the applicable notice.
